IATA (International Air Transport Association)
The International Air Transport Organization (IATA) is a trade association including the most dynamic airline companies in the world. It was founded in Havana, Cuba, on 19 April 1945.
The modern IATA is the successor to the International Air Traffic Association founded in the Hague in 1919 – the year of the world’s first international scheduled services. IATA now represents some 290 airlines in 120 countries. Carrying 82% of the world’s air traffic, IATA members include the world’s leading passenger and cargo airlines.

IATA Authorized Training Centers (ATCs) are independent training facilities authorized to teach specific IATA training courses and diplomas for aviation, tourism and cargo.

IATA Accredited Training Schools (ATSs) are training centers authorized by IATA to provide quality, harmonized and accepted dangerous goods training in areas of vital importance to the aviation industry.

CAA
The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is a civil service for the management of
airtransport, the State Airports of the country, the monitoring of compliance with all aircraft safety regulations and air traffic in the Greek national airspace, per domestic and international aviation law, as well as the maintenance of aircraft registration and mortgage book.
EASA
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is a European Union (EU) agency, with regulatory and executive tasks in the field of civil aviation security. It was created on 15 July 2003 and became fully operational in 2008 taking over the duties of the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA). EASA’s responsibilities include carrying out safety analysis and research, approving foreign operators, implementing and monitoring safety rules (including inspections in member states), giving type-certification of aircraft and components, as well as approving organizations involved in the design, manufacture and maintenance of aeronautical products.
